How long does the dental implant process treatment take?

Obviously this will vary depending on how many implants will be required, and the condition of the patients existing teeth and or gums. Also, it is dependent upon the availability of healthy bone. Each of these factors could extend the treatment process time needed. The first visit will be to establish a diagnosis, what will be needed as a solution, and how to proceed forward.

Following the first visit for surgery, the patient will have healed for at least two months before returning. The patient will use their own dentures or be provided with whatever temporary dentures or restorations that may be necessary. Within three to six months, the patient will return to complete the process by having the false teeth, known as crowns, installed on the implanted base. Again, the length of the procedure will depend on what the dentist and the patient decide is the best course of action for that particular patient.
