What if the implant does not grow into, and properly bond with the bone?

It is extremely rare that the implant does not bond properly and integrate into the bone. However, if this does happen the implant will need to be removed, and the area allowed to heal before making another attempt to insert the implant into the bone. If necessary, the dentist can make a bridge for that space that can be attached to implants that have been properly bonded with the bone.
